Anyone who has children will know how much of a struggle it can be to get them to eat their fruit and vegetables.
In 2018, 18% of children aged 5 to 15 ate five standard portions of fruit and vegetables per day and that many parents fear their child is developing an unhealthy relationship with food.
For children, the advice is that they should eat at least five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables a day, but that portion size may vary with age, body size and levels of physical activity.
So here’s something for you to try. Allow your child to get involved, this way, they are more likely to eat something they have helped make. We would love to see photographs of your healthy creations
