Litter Picking

The Downstairs Bumbles have been learning about the importance of caring for our environment. We have had lots of discussions about how we can do this. The children decided to go out into our nature reserve and pick up litter. We talked about how we could safely collect any discarded litter and decided the best things to use were litter pickers. The children were amazed at how much they were able to collect. We also discussed how harmful the litter would be to any animals living in the area. Each week we will continue to go out and help care for our local environment.
