Muddy Mark Making

This week we have been exploring name writing and letter formation; as something a little different we took the lovely weather as an opportunity to practise our skills in the garden. Using chalks on the ground and sticks in the mud, the children enjoyed comparing the different marks they could make. Some children even managed to write their own names independently from memory.
