Outdoor Learning
With the sunny weather upon us, why not bring learning outdoors. The outdoor environment allows children to interact with the elements around us and helps them to gain an understanding of the world we live in.
Woodland walks provide perfect opportunities to explore nature. Try collecting twigs and flowers and use string to support children to create structures – maybe a fairy cottage, castle or an inviting home for bugs – or, create simple patterns and pictures using stones, leaves and twigs etc.
