Planting bulbs

This week the Honey’s have been busy in the secret garden planting bulbs, the children used forks to make holes of different sizes in the compost, then very carefully put the bulb into each hole.

We spoke with the children about size, colours and what we need to make the bulbs grow. This activity promoted communication and language, gross motor skills and hand eye co-ordination.
